Charles (Brother Boko) Freeman
Charles Freeman (Brother Boko) is widely respected for his murals that grace the walls of public and private schools, commerical and public buildings. His murals are visible throughout Los Angeles and its environs. Brother Boko studied art in New York and Connecticut as a young man but essentially he is a self-taught artist. Charles’ work includes portraits painted of well-known personalities, friends, family and private commissions.
